Terms of Use
When a search is for a legal firm or a company, we normally send an Invoice along with our report. Payment is due within 30 days of the date of the Invoice. Payment can be made by cheque or by Bank Transfer (please ask for our bank details).When a search is for a private individual for whom we have not previously acted, then we can provide an estimate. If this is acceptable, we then carry out the search and ask for payment by cheque or Bank Transfer before we send our report.
We are happy to provide estimates of the cost of a search, which will comprise a fee based on the time required, plus the outlays for obtaining information and copy deeds, plus VAT. We can also work up to an agreed limit, at which point we will either have the answer or we will know how much more work will be required.
